About the Team:
The Operations Regulatory Control (ORC) team is a centralized global unit within ICG Operations & Technology. We are responsible for the accurate, complete, and timely delivery of regulatory transaction reporting across jurisdictions. As part of our APAC team, you will play a vital role in implementing new regulatory requirements, managing daily control processes, and partnering with stakeholders to ensure reporting compliance across the region.

12 Month Contract

Salary up to $9500

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily delivery of accurate and timely swap dealer regulatory reports for APAC jurisdictions (e.g., MAS, ASIC, HKMA).
  • Monitor control exceptions and metrics, collaborating with Technology, Middle Office, Compliance, and Business teams for resolution.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on data issues using large datasets; recommend and drive remediation.
  • Govern regulatory reporting processes and escalate issues to stakeholders with transparency.
  • Support internal and external regulatory queries and audits.
  • Manage and deliver reporting initiatives and enhancements using structured project management tools (e.g., BRDs, test plans, risk logs).
  • Represent bank in APAC industry forums and with external vendors, solution providers, and regulators.
  • Ensure all controls, documentation, and procedures align with global reporting and risk standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Must-Have:
  • 3+ years' experience in Regulatory Reporting, Derivatives Operations, Business Analysis, or Project Management.
  • Strong knowledge of OTC derivatives and their trade lifecycle.
  • Subject matter expertise in G20 financial regulations and transaction-level reporting.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio; working knowledge of SQL/VBA preferred.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments.

Preferred:
  • Experience with APAC regulatory regimes (e.g., ASIC, MAS, HKMA).
  • Prior engagement with regulators, industry groups, or regulatory vendors.
  • Experience with large-scale data remediation or process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2, Lean Sigma, Agile).
