Executive Summary
The Reservations & Revenue Manager oversees all aspects of booking
and inventory for the Ambassador Transit Lounges at Changi Airport (T2 & T3). Key goals are
to ensure seamless hourly and overnight reservations, maintain data integrity, drive
revenue through dynamic pricing and upselling, lead a high-performing reservations team,
and collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Categories & Responsibilities
1. Reservation Systems & Data
o Manage PMS, OTA channels, channel managers, and direct-booking
platforms
o Ensure integration and synchronization to prevent overbookings and rate-
parity issues
o Verify timely, accurate entry of guest details, rate plans, room types,
payment info
o Maintain up-to-date logs for bookings, modifications, cancellations, no-
shows, and OTA activity for reporting and audits
2. Booking Operations
o Process, confirm, modify, and cancel reservations per policy across all
channels
o Liaise with Front Office and Housekeeping for hourly room assignments and
quick turnovers
o Handle special requests, amendments, and cancellations swiftly, minimizing
financial impact
o Resolve discrepancies (double-bookings, rate disputes) in a guest-friendly
manner
3. Revenue Management & Upselling
o Leverage dynamic pricing tools to adjust rates in real time and maximize
occupancy during transit peaks
o Identify and coach agents on upsell opportunities via OTA and direct channels
to boost revenue per guest
o Monitor and enforce no-show and same-day cancellation charges
consistently across platforms
4. Team Leadership & Training
o Lead, mentor, and evaluate the Reservations team; set quality and
operational standards
o Conduct ongoing training on PMS, OTA platforms, rate management, guest
communication, and hotel policies
o Respond to guest and OTA inquiries with professionalism and urgency
5. Collaboration & Operations
o Coordinate daily with Hotel Management, Front Office, Housekeeping, and
Finance to align performance with strategic goals
o Support ad-hoc operational duties to ensure smooth 24/7 transit-focused
service
o Track OTA commissions, reconcile discrepancies, and collaborate with
Finance for timely payments
