Temasek Laboratories@NTU explores the frontiers in science and develops strategic technologies to enhance the defence and security of Singapore. TL@NTU forms part of the defence technology community in Singapore alongside DSO National Laboratories, Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA), Temasek Laboratories @ NUS and @SUTD and the local defence industry.

We are looking for a Research Assistant to conduct research in advance diamond technology. The role will focus on

• Conduct an in-depth review of diamond material properties for thermal applications and quantum sensing.
• Develop new process method for the growth of diamond and relevant applications

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct an in-depth review of diamond material properties for thermal applications and quantum sensing
• Develop new process method for the growth of diamond and relevant applications
• Prepare monthly reports and presentations for meetings and project deliverables
• Publishing research articles in high-impact journals
• Mentoring of UG students (e.g., FYP, URECA)

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/material science or related field
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism in all aspects of work
• Good writing skills for writing proposals, reports and publications in good academic journals
