Our client is an established regional bank, with a strong client network with large corporates in Singapore and Asia Pacific. They have an approved headcount for an Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) for its Corporate Banking team.

about the job

• Assist RM to develop business, secure clients and deals, manage necessary internal operational, compliance and regulatory matters
• Following through on credit-related matters according to credit procedures and bank policies, and attend to client's day queries and transactions such as waiver requests
• Attend client meetings and external promotional events where applicable
• Performing industry research to identify new business opportunities and deal feasibility
• Prepare credit proposals for new clients, credit reviews, credit monitoring/ covenant monitoring and marketing and deal materials
• Analyse client's financial information and industry outlook
• Liaising with clients, other departments and relevant stakeholders
• Handle client onboarding/AML/KYC/CDD and due diligence matters

Part of a stable team and opportunities for growth, this role reports to the Team Lead.

skills & experience required

• Degree in Accountancy, Business Management, Banking & Finance and Economics
• Minimum or 1 year of corporate banking ARM experience or banking internships
• Experience/ Knowledge in corporate banking products such as Bilateral and Syndicated Loans and Trade Finance
• Good proficiency in Chinese language, as the ARM may need to communicate with native Chinese speaking stakeholders such as Head Office personnel and clients
