Job Description

The successful candidate will work with Dr Lee Ching Hua on the quantum simulation of many-body non-equilibrium models under a project on SIMULATING FRONTIER MANY-BODY PHYSICS ON NOISY-INTERMEDIATE SCALE QUANTUM PROCESSORS.

The main responsibilities of the position include:
  1. Writing qiskit code for defining quantum circuits
  2. Implementing quantum circuits on quantum processors
  3. Performing error mitigation and post-selection tasks
  4. Deriving the effective field theory for the quantum dynamics observed

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Qualifications / Discipline: PhD in Physics or Engineering
  • Skills:
  1. Working knowledge in programming quantum circuits with qiskit
  2. Expertise in non-equilibrium physics modelling
  3. Expertise in many-body quantum physics
  • Experience: Proven track record in publishing in quantum and/or non-equilibrium physics journals
