About Our Client

Our client is a Singapore-regulated brokerage firm backed by a reputable regional group. As they continue expanding their product offerings and customer base, they are looking to strengthen their second line of defence with an experienced Senior Compliance Officer to support day-to-day oversight and partner closely with the Head of Compliance.

Job Description

You will report to and support the Head of Compliance. Key responsibilities include:

• Regulatory Advisory: Interpret MAS regulations (SFA, FAA, FAR) and exchange rules to guide internal stakeholders and ensure policy alignment.
• AML/CFT Oversight: Maintain and implement AML/CFT and sanctions frameworks; conduct transaction monitoring and file STRs as needed.
• Surveillance & Monitoring: Investigate trade alerts, monitor fund flows, and escalate unusual transactions for further review.
• Regulatory Licensing: Manage appointed representatives' licensing matters and ensure timely regulatory filings and renewals.
• Incident & Conduct Management: Handle internal complaints, breaches, and conduct-related escalations in coordination with HR and relevant teams.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 5 years of compliance experience within a brokerage or securities environment.
• Familiar with MAS regulatory requirements (SFA, FAA, FAR), AML/CFT frameworks, and SGX rules.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to advise stakeholders and manage sensitive matters.
• Hands-on and detail-oriented, able to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-growth setting.
