Job Description

• Lead and oversee engineering functions, coordinating operations and maintenance activities across departments.
• Inspire and motivate engineering teams to maintain high performance standards.
• Develop engineering strategies aligned with organizational goals and work cross-functionally to ensure smooth execution.
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs to prevent system failures and prolong asset life.
• Provide technical input in preparing annual maintenance and capital expenditure budgets.
• Monitor spending to ensure alignment with approved budgets and promote cost-effective maintenance strategies.
• Oversee Capex projects, track milestones, and ensure timely delivery.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Ensure engineering teams are well-trained and properly equipped to handle operational demand.
• Provide regular updates on asset conditions, system performance, and maintenance trends.
• Identify and escalate infrastructure risks, aiding in forward-planning and CAPEX forecasting.
• Contribute to technical documentation and reports for EXCO, AGM, and EGM meetings.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for stakeholders including tenants, owners, MCST councils, and vendors.
• Attend meetings, inspections, and walkabouts, offering data-driven insights and resolving issues with professionalism and clarity.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Advanced certifications are a plus.
• Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certification.
• Sustainability and energy-related credentials (e.g., Green Mark, Energy Auditor).
• 8 years+ in facilities management for large-scale commercial, mixed-use, or strata-titled developments.
• Proven experience with MCST operations and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, statutory regulations, and building management procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented, resourceful, and capable of performing in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in engineering roles.
• Strong problem-solving and critical decision-making abilities.
• Clear and effective communication skills for team and cross-department collaboration.
