Safety Officer (EHS / Oil & Gas)

Location: Jurong

Working Days: 5. 5 work week

Working hours : 7.30am to 4.30pm, Sat: 7.30am to 12.45pm

Salary : $3000 to $4200 (subject to qualifications and experience)

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to relevant Acts, Regulations, and organizational policies.
• Investigate and report on workplace incidents, near misses, safety concerns,
  and recommend corrective actions
• Support in implementation of risk assessments and related training activities
• Take proactive measures to highlight unsafe conditions and enforce safety compliance on-site.
• Maintain records of safety orientation and daily toolbox meetings.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in WSH laws and regulations.
• Support the WSHO in evaluating workers' safety competency levels.
• Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and evidence.
• Collaborate closely with the WSHO to meet the company's safety expectations and objectives.
• Perform other WSH-related duties as assigned by your superior, in alignment with the organization's safety goals

Requirement

• WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH, or equivalent certification
• 2-3 years of EHS experience, preferably in the oil & gas industry.
• Relevant supervisory course certifications (e.g., WAH, Confined Space) are a plus
