Job Description

The successful candidate will work in the laboratory of Prof Greg Tucker-Kellogg on experimental and computational analysis related to novel pathway-driven interventions in cancer, specifically mitochondrial and epigenetic vulnerabilities

The main responsibilities of the position include:
  • Single-cell genomic experiments in exploitation of mitochondrial vulnerability for target identification and validation
  • Single-cell epigenomic experiments for dissection of pathway dependencies of identified vulnerabilities
  • in situ proximity-based epigenetic imaging experiments
  • Analysis of data from integrative studies using deep learning approaches

Qualifications

PhD in Molecular or Cellular Biology, with demonstrated track record in both cancer cell biology and dry lab data analysis.

Experience:
  • At least two years demonstrated experience in epigenomic studies and analysis
  • At least two years experience in proximity-based imaging studies of chromatin organisation

Skills:
  • Cell culture of both adherent and suspension cells
  • Both Chip-Seq and CUT&TAG sample and library preparatio
  • Analytical flow cytometry and live cell FACS
  • Demonstrated skills using R and/or Python programming for analysis of chromatin organisation
