The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow in Prof. Kunn's group. The Research Fellow will play a key role in conducting research in the fields of electrocatalysis and electrochemical analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrode surface modifications using different chemical compounds and compositions.
• Electrochemical characterization of samples performing cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry.
• Set up a system under various operating conditions.
• Carry out experiments to understand mechanisms.
• Identify components in final products.
• Apply the knowledge to correlate results / system operation.
• Set-up and monitor the performance of systems

Job Requirements:

• PhD degree in a relevant Science or Engineering field
• Strong analytical and conceptual abilities
• Proven ability to publish in conferences and journals
• Ability and willingness to train and supervise graduate students
• Background in physicochemical analysis (PhD or engineer with 3 years' experience)
• Strong background in instrumentation
• Good track record of publications and IPs
• Experience in lab setup or prototype development
• Familiarity with data analysis tools
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong teamwork awareness
