We are seeking experienced and passionate Speech Therapist/ Senior Speech Therapist to join our community-based services in the following areas:

• Paediatric Rehabilitation (Early Intervention Programme)
• Adult Rehabilitation
• Community-Based Rehabilitation (Day Care Centres, Day Rehabilitation Centres, Nursing Homes)

As a member of a dynamic Allied Health team, you will deliver speech therapy services to our partners across the community sector.

Key Responsibilities

As a Speech Therapist, you are expected to:

• Assess and identify the needs of individual clients to recommend appropriate therapeutic interventions and programmes.
• Conduct individual or group therapy to ensure client outcomes.
• Participate in public education/outreach to build an inclusive society.
• Keep abreast of the latest research and developments in speech therapy and be involved in networking with hospitals and other community organisations.
• Senior Speech Therapists will be expected to take on supervisory and administrative roles in addition to clinical work.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor or Masters Degree in Speech Therapy (or equivalent) recognised by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
• Eligible for registration as Speech Therapist with the AHPC in Singapore.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients and families with empathy and professionalism.
• A team player with a heart for serving in the social service sector and supporting people with disabilities.
• Experience in management and multi-agency collaboration will be an added advantage.
• Applicants for the position of Senior Speech Therapist should have at least 5 years of relevant working experience, including one year of clinical supervision to practicing Speech Therapists.
