Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Production Assembler/Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building sub-assemblies, handling components and parts, and ensuring that all products meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow safety protocols, report hazards, and participate in safety initiatives.
• Assemble sub-components and parts according to technical instructions and blueprints.
• Handle and manage components and parts efficiently to ensure smooth production flow.
• Perform basic wiring, soldering, and cable management tasks at sub-assembly level.
• Inspect and test sub-assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Identify and report any mechanical, electrical, or assembly issues.
• Maintain accurate records of assembly processes and test results.
• Assist in managing inventory levels and reporting shortages.
• Ensure tools and equipment are well-maintained and calibrated.
• Maintain an organized and efficient workspace by following 5S principles.
• Collaborate with team members and engineers to improve processes and resolve challenges.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing and Kaizen.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications & Experience
• Secondary school education or equivalent.
• No prior work experience required, but any hands-on experience in a production or assembly environment is a plus.
Skills
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly.
• Basic wiring, soldering, and cable management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Familiarity with 5S and lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
Additional Requirements
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques, tools, and technologies.
• Must be willing to work in a 12-hour rotating shift.
