Brief Job Description & Responsibilities

KLASS Engineering & Solutions ("KLASS") is looking for a Partnership Manager to join the Partnerships Team of the company. The Partnerships Team conducts business development, key account management - identifying opportunities and securing contracts for the company. Apart from working closely with in-house engineers and researchers, the team also regularly engage external partners to identify and harness emerging technologies which could develop into new capabilities or solve problem statements for public safety.

The ideal candidate should comfortably juggle between business development, project management, and account management roles, and serve as a mediator between emerging technology topics and our business goals. The candidate should also possess deep interest in latest technology trends (e.g. AI, Machine Learning, Robotics), and willingness to learn and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities may include serving as a point-of-contact between KLASS and its partners, proposal drafting & review, deal negotiations, technology scouting & trend analysis, report drafting, business platform and process review, management reporting, etc.

Technical Skills:

• Resourceful and knowledgeable on emerging technology topics

• Existing networks in innovation and industry scene (preferred)

• Experience in analysing data to draw business-relevant conclusions

• Familiarity with Microsoft office software suite and other project management software such as Jira

• Proficient with data visualisation tools and techniques

• Good pitching and presentation skills

Soft Skills:

• Good interpersonal and relationship building skills

• Meticulous and strong organisational skills

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Strong network within the start-up/industry & innovation scene(preferred)

Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science / Engineering preferred)

• CAPM/PMP/MBA would be advantageous

Work Experience:

• More than 4 years of working experience (preferred)

• Experience in a business development / project management role

• Experience with early-mid TRL software solutions (especially in AI & machine learning)

• Understand government projects and tender procedures

• Proven ability in establishing new partnerships to support business outcomes
