Job Description

My client is seeking a meticulous and strategic Property Tax Manager to oversee property tax matters for their portfolio of business parks and industrial properties. In this role, you will ensure compliance with tax regulations, manage assessments and appeals with IRAS, and collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to optimize tax outcomes.

• Manage property tax compliance, including submission of tenancy schedules, GTO, and license data to IRAS
• Handle assessments, objections, and appeals for new subdivisions, amalgamations, and reassessments
• Collaborate with IRAS officers, asset managers, and tenants to recover additional property tax and resolve valuation issues
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting by estimating tax provisions and recoveries
• Prepare monthly and quarterly property tax reports and compile annual tax invoices
• Represent the company in valuation appeals and participate in property inspections when required

The Successful Applicant

• Strong knowledge of Singapore property tax regulations and IRAS processes
• Experience in property tax management, preferably within real estate or industrial portfolios
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in budgeting systems and reporting tools
