Key Responsibilities:
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day warehouse operations related to storage, handling, and internal movement of art, wine, and luxury goods.
- Manage the warehouse team, ensuring clear delegation and high standards in handling and care.
- Maintain and refine inventory systems (WMS), ensuring all item movements, client records, and documentation are up-to-date and error-free.
- Packing/unpacking, crating, condition reporting, and basic conservation-safe procedures.
- Coordinate with logistics staff and external couriers for deliveries and pickups.
- Enforce warehouse safety, cleanliness, and security protocols.
- Perform periodic audits and stock checks; investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Occasionally support client viewings or special projects onsite.
- Foster a culture of accountability, precision, and care in handling sensitive or fragile items.
- Work closely with office team to align on client expectations and timelines.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, order, and security in the warehouse.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience, preferably in high-value or specialty storage (e.g. fine art, wine, or collectibles environments).
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or inventory software and basic computer proficiency (Excel, WMS).
- Strong attention to detail and possesses knowledge of safe handling and packaging techniques for fragile or climate-sensitive goods.
- Good communication skills; able to coordinate across teams and vendors.
- Physically fit to handle occasional lifting or movement of crates and boxes (within safety guidelines).
- Familiarity with customs, bonded goods, or regulated imports/exports is preferred.
- Forklift certification or prior forklift operation experience is a plus (optional but advantageous).
