RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparing and analyzing the financial statements to provide insights into the company's Financial status.
• Manage and direct support staff in all aspects of the Finance and Accounting functions.
• Manage working capital which includes working with the management team for timely customers collections, and aligning cash disbursements consistent with incoming cash receipts.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, and reconciliations/analysis of all balance sheet accounts and bank reconciliation of the company and other related companies
• Working with other departments to gather and analyze financial information.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretary, bankers, insurers, lawyers and statutory bodies.
• Assists the Managing Director in decision making in the company's financial aspects and ensure that statutory compliance is abide by accordingly.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor of Accountancy or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience of similar supervisory, or senior-level role in finance or accounting position
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, and budgeting
• Knowledge of marine operations, project cost analysis and work-in-progress calculation
• Knowledge of Singapore financial regulations and compliance on matters related to ACRA, IRAS, MOM and CPF.
• Knowledge of accounting software and keep abreast with technological advancement
• Knowledge of factoring orinvoice financing
• Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports and projections
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
