Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Underwrite commercial and industrial risks in accordance with the Company's underwriting guidelines and treaty terms;
- Contribute to the annual underwriting strategy for Non-Marine business by supporting the Head of Department to achieve the projected premium and profitability targets;
- Recommend to the Head of Department on risks beyond own authorized limit;
- Plan and organize visitation to agents/clients;
- Develop good relationship with agents/clients in order to achieve growth;
- Analyze the premium portfolio for agents in order to achieve the target set;
- Gather market information and business trend to gain competitive advantage against competitors and to disseminate information to the Department;
- Prepare quotations to clients and agents in accordance with the Company's underwriting guidelines;
- Provide customer service to clients/agents on their enquiries regarding premium rates and policy conditions;
- Conduct survey, if required;
- Instruct Marketing Assistant to issue Temporary Cover Notes/Confirmation of Cover;
- Assist in premium collection;
- To review renewal business and make necessary adjustment to premium, terms and conditions;
- Assist in the smooth running of daily policy/endorsement issuance by the Marketing Assistant including the systems operations;
- Cover buddy's duties in his/her absence.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree holders, or related discipline;
- Preferably with minimum 2 years working experience;
- Must have at least have Certificate In General Insurance (CGI);
- Willingness to learn and meticulous;
- Possess good interpersonal and communications skills;
