Trainee Panamax Shipbroker

We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven Trainee Shipbroker to join our expanding team in Singapore.

As a trainee, you will be mentored by senior brokers, work on live negotiations, and build strong relationships with clients. In this position you will join a trainee broker within our Panamax Team and your first 12 months will be spent developing industry and hands-on experience, by focussing on;

• Learning the fundamentals of shipbroking from one of the most experienced global teams
• Monitoring freight movements, vessel positions, and market dynamics
• Supporting live negotiations and transactions in the dry bulk freight market
• Collaborate closely with brokers and clients across Asia, Europe, and the Americas
• Building and managing relationships with local and international clients.

Skills and Experience:

• Whilst previous experience is not essential, a clear interest in shipping and trading through education or experience is preferred.
• Strong IT literacy and ability to learn new software and systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong commercial instincts, high energy, and an international mindset
• Ambition to develop a career within a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
• Spoken Languages: Mandarin (Native/Fluent) & English (Fluent) are essential.
