Job Overview:

As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our game distribution company. You will be responsible for managing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes. Your strategic insights and financial expertise will drive decision-making and contribute to the long-term success and profitability of our organization in the gaming industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to support strategic decision-making and business planning.

2. Develop and maintain financial models, metrics, and KPIs to evaluate business performance, assess risks, and identify opportunities for growth and optimization.

3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, GST submission and cash flow for management review and external stakeholders.

4. Manage the day-to-day Accounts department operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger activities, and provide guidance and training to the team.

5. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with statutory regulations and tax laws.

6. Manage financial reports and analysis to help guide business decisions.

7. Implement and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, mitigate financial risks, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and corporate governance guidelines.

8. Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity management activities, optimizing cash resources to support business operations and growth initiatives.

9. Perform ad-hoc tasks as required

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy, Chartered Accountant or ACCA qualification preferred.

• Minimum 4 years of experience overseeing Accounting/Finance Department or a similar role, preferably in the gaming or entertainment industry

• Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting principles and practices.

• Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems (Dynamics 365), and spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) will be an advantage.

• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively to non-financial stakeholders.

• Strong leadership, people management and organisational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail, high ethics value, good analytical and communication skills.

• Able to commence work immediately or with short notice.
