They are now hiring experienced professionals from Singapore's Chinese restaurant sector, fluent in Mandarin, to help establish a high-performing local team and bring the true taste of Hainan to the region.

About the Role:

As our Purchasing Manager, you will oversee procurement and supply chain activities between Singapore and Malaysia, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of ingredients and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage vendor relationships and sourcing strategies across Singapore and Malaysia
• Coordinate procurement of food materials, kitchen equipment, and operational supplies
• Monitor stock levels and delivery schedules, ensuring optimal inventory turnover
• Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers
• Ensure procurement practices comply with local import/export and food safety standards
• Collaborate with kitchen and operations teams to align supply with demand

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of purchasing experience in the F&B sector, preferably in a Chinese restaurant group
• Familiar with Singapore-Malaysia cross-border procurement systems and customs
• Fluent in Mandarin and English for effective communication with regional suppliers
• Proficient in inventory and procurement systems
• Strong negotiation, planning, and organizational skills
