Job Scope:

• Perform accounting data entry and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Handle full spectrum of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger functions.
• Liaise with suppliers and freight forwarders on import matters, shipment discrepancies, loss surveys, and cost verification.
• Assist in the preparation and timely closing of monthly management accounts.
• Prepare quarterly financial reports and manage GST submissions.
• Coordinate and provide support for year-end audits, tax filing, and company secretarial matters.
• Communicate effectively with clients, brokers, insurers, auditors, and tax agents.
• Perform general office administrative tasks and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Process staff claims and reimbursement forms in accordance with company policies.
• Oversee operational contracts and documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Coordinate with customers, shipping agents, and terminal operators to facilitate logistics and operational matters.

Job Requirements:

• Possess at least a Diploma or LCCI qualification in Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in accounting or related fields.
• Experience in freight chartering and familiarity with vessel operations will be an advantage.
