Responsibilities:
Requirements
- Strategic: Set objectives for PD Sg Photo Process Dev team to ensure quality, effectiveness, and productivity to meet PD goals. Responsible for planning, executing and delivering results in meeting PD goals.
- Innovation: Drive innovation and lead breakthrough process and equipment solutions to meet the needs of the technology. Encourage innovation culture within team through constantly experimenting new ideas and publishing patents/technical papers.
- Technology roadmap: Understand and drive Photolithography technology roadmap, seeking out technology trends related information inside and outside Micron to help define roadmaps and strategy.
- Process development: To identify disruptive equipment and processes early on and work with manufacturing and TD to identify viable path forward. To participate, engage and drive technology transfer activities, pilot line ramp and gates initiatives.
- Collaboration: Be the de-facto TD PD SG representative, understanding bottlenecks in productivity and technology across sites.
- People: Hire, develop, mentor and lead team of Photolithography engineers to form a highly technically competent team. Promote growth and winning mindset across larger organization.
- Provides guidance to the PD SG leadership and advises managers and supervisors on issues related to Photolithography. Establish plans, manage projects and ensure execution of operational directives to meet strategic objectives.
- Resources management: Manage resources available via direct reports and indirect reports. Ability to extend reach and utilize resources across modules and departments effectively.
- Communication: An excellent communicator (verbal and written) and excel in communicating overall strategy in Manufacturing and TD.
- Safety: Encourage and enforce safe, compliant behavior through periodic communications and the performance management process.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science and Materials Science, or similar related field, with many years of experience and strong understanding of NAND Photolithography processes.
- Self-motivated and adaptable to TD fast paced, demanding and dynamic work environment; effective in balancing priorities between near term deliverables and longer-term opportunities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to convey the message clearly and sharply both locally and globally.
- Excellent ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously; efficiently utilize available resources or seek peers' and/or management help to get over the roadblocks to drive to solutions.
- Team-building skills, ability to delegate, motivate, and assist direct report in reaching their goals
- Proven ability to give honest, tough, but productive feedback to the team, and be willing to receive it yourself
