What you will do
We are seeking a Sr.Technical Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of projects related to AI & Data transformation across different Virtuos studios. This is an ambitious role with considerable technical and production challenges.
We are seeking a candidate with technical background, experience in digital transformation, innovative mind & sharp project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large AI & Data projects across multiple teams and disciplines, guide the contributing team
- Be a key leader/contributor to the development team and responsible for identifying and resolving issues across all areas & teams
- Actively drive identification and resolution of cross-departmental dependencies, issues and risks
- Oversee realistic production schedule, manage the plan to ensure deliverables match the expectations of the internal client
- Manage change - ensuring project scope is adhered to, controlling feature creep, ensuring project is delivered in accordance with expectations, and project budget changes if necessary.
- Manage risk - continuously assess risk and keep the scope of the projects in line with budget and schedule.
- Manage communication plan, ensure amicable day to day working relationship in project related matters, ensure all stakeholders have clear vision of the project
Requirements
- Highly responsible, self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with a desire to contribute to a creative environment.
- Experienced Project Manager (>10y) with outstanding organization, communication and exceptional management skills/leadership
- At least 8y of experience on relevant technical or business area, at least 1y of hands-on experience in change management area.
- Knowledge of technical issues in software development (ideally in games), preferable technical education or background with consulting expertise (>3y) on large scale transformation projects
- Previous experience and/or interest in driving AI (ML/DL) development is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills, utilizing both oral and written communication, ability to influence without direct authority
- Proactive and positive attitude with the willingness to support the team and project.
- Strong leadership skills, able to drive various parties (e.g. Development, Art, ML/DL, Game teams) through the whole development process.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively within a large project across multiple locations.
- Exceptional project management practices and software know-how including Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Hansoft (or similar)
- Fluent English language skill, Chinese language skill is a plus.
