- Responsible for ensuring timely & accurate setup of approved loan profiles, disbursement and remittance of funds in accordance with instructions received.Process loan accounts opening for new borrowing customers in Multi-Currency Loans System (MCL) based on accepted offer letters or facility agreement
- Process loan disbursements, remittance, repayments, redemption, rollovers, restructuring and other loans instructions received in a timely manner whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Process loan maintenance data inputs for all loan accounts
- Process relevant payment messages (ie SWIFT payment) in AMH /Remittance system and appropriate entries in AIM/RBK/SAP system
- Process and effect accounting entries for Deposit/ Payments/ SWIFT/ GL transactions
- Undertake limit implementation for Loans & Limit Exposure System (LES) and the other products systems
- Reconciliations and investigations
- Undertake daily operations in accordance to MAS regulations and Bank policies and procedures.
- Work actively with Dept Head/Team Lead/officers to meet SLA turnaround time for daily loan/limit implementation processes
- Maintain proper loan archival records
Requirements:
- Degree Holder with 1- 4 years of corporate loans operations experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications especially Excel and Word
- Comfortable in data handling and analysis with Excel
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet strict payment related cutoff times
- Strong oral and written communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently with key stakeholders to resolve issues
- Self-motivated with initiative and a strong drive to achieve quality work
- Good team player
