- Providing individual attention and support to children as needed, such as helping with tasks or comforting those who are upset.
- Assisting with daily routines, such as mealtimes, nap times, and transitions between activities.
- Maintaining accurate records of children's attendance, progress, and any incidents that may occur.
- Communicating effectively with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere.
- Participating in professional development opportunities, such as workshops and training sessions, to continually improve knowledge and skills.
- Adhering to the center's policies and procedures, as well as ECDA licensing regulations.
- Assisting with the preparation of materials and resources for lessons and activities.
- Collaborating with the lead teacher and other staff members to address any concerns or challenges that may arise.
- Participating in staff meetings and contributing to the ongoing improvement of the childcare center's programs and practices.
- Supporting children with special needs, working closely with the lead teacher and other professionals to provide tailored support as needed.
- Acting as a positive role model for children, demonstrating respect, empathy, and appropriate behavior at all times.
