We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate to explore innovative solutions for enhancing the utilization of local food by-products in barramundi production. ( Lates calcarifer ) and saline tilapia ( O. mossambicus ) aquafeed: feed formulation & processing, animal trial management, fish transcriptomics and phenotyping.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on fish nutrition
• Manage deliverables-based projects in aquaculture nutrition
• Maintain regular discussion with local farmers and industry stakeholders to design solutions that are compatible with farming requirements

Requirements:

• PhD Degree in Aquaculture Health, Nutrition or Genetics
• At least one first-author research paper in an international peer-reviewed journal
