We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the full-suite finance function setup at our Singapore headquarters. This position plays a central role in ensuring financial integrity, statutory compliance, and effective group-level consolidation across our regional entities in Asia and Europe. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with end-to-end accounting, experienced in multi-entity consolidation, and capable of navigating cross-border finance environments.

As this role supports international operations, occasional overseas travel is required to engage with stakeholders and coordinate with local teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Consolidation
  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports across the group.
  • Perform consolidation of multiple entities across Asia and Europe, ensuring compliance with IFRS and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
  • Ensure timely and accurate generation of a full set of accounts - balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow, and notes.
  • Monitor intercompany transactions and lead global financial reconciliations.

2. Statutory Accounting, Tax & Audit
  • Manage corporate tax computation and filing in Singapore in compliance with IRAS, including deferred tax liabilities (DTL) and transfer pricing where relevant.
  • Coordinate statutory and internal audits; manage relationships with external auditors in Singapore and group locations.
  • Maintain documentation and prepare audit schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with GST, withholding tax, and cross-border financial regulations.

3. Treasury & Working Capital Management
  • Oversee banking operations, FX exposure, fund transfers, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Collaborate with banks and financial institutions to address funding needs, credit facilities, and investment strategies.
  • Ensure timely vendor payments and efficient management of receivables.

4. Stakeholder Management & Team Collaboration
  • Collaborate with operations, project, legal, and HQ finance teams to align financial strategies.
  • Support the SVP and senior management with reporting, analysis, and financial insights.
  • Mentor junior finance staff (in the future) and contribute to building a high-performance finance function.

Qualifications:

 Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CA) is required.
  • 7 to 15 years of progressive finance experience with multinational exposure.
  • 3-4 years of corporate finance experience (debt structuring, M&A, capital raising)
  • Startup or high-growth company experience - comfortable with ambiguity and building from scratch
  • Strong experience in multi-entity consolidation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
  • Knowledge of IFRS, SFRS, and regional tax rules (Indonesia, Middle East and Australia).
  • Prior experience supporting international subsidiaries or cross-border finance functions is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems, Excel, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, ERP systems).
  • Excellent communication skills; Mandarin proficiency is a plus for engaging with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for international finance support.
