Marine Engineer (Senior, A1 main contractors)

Join one of Singapore's leading A1 main contractors with over 20 years of excellence in the industry. Our client boasts a remarkable portfolio, including private residential, mixed development, commercial, and infrastructure projects, as well as some of Singapore's most iconic landmarks.

They are currently hiring a Senior/Site Engineer (Marine) to support an iconic mixed-development project. This position offers a 5.5-day work week and performance bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage construction documents such as RFIs, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures, and shop drawings.
• Ensure the timely submission of progress reports to consultants and clients, adhering to project specifications.
• Interpret and analyze project specifications across civil, structural, architectural, and M&E disciplines.
• Monitor construction activities and compile detailed site reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) to track progress and maintain quality standards.
• Schedule and coordinate site inspections with Resident Engineers and Technical Officers to ensure compliance with project and safety requirements.
• Attend weekly and monthly safety meetings and discuss site-related issues with clients.
• Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring adherence to company and project standards throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Min 3 years of relevant experience in marine or infrastructural construction, with a preference for dredging, piling, jetty, or near-shore projects. Candidates with over 5 years of experience may qualify for the Senior Site Engineer role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.
