Full Time ONE Dance Artiste

SINGAPORE CHINESE DANCE THEATRE
Duties:
1. Plan and execute Outreach and Education programmes;
2. Design lesson plan, prepare and perform teaching duties according to Company requirements;
3. Choreograph dance items and prepare students for performances and competitions;
4. Attend regular meetings and training to improve teaching skills and maintain technical proficiency;
5. Give accurate feedback on students' progress to schools and parents;
6. Be on standby to stand in for assigned staff if they are unable to perform their duty; and
7. Perform other Outreach and Education related duties, such as performing and publicity.
For full-time staff, working hours may exceed 44 hours/week during peak periods, and/or you may be required to work on Sundays and Public Holidays due to company events/operational needs.
Qualification:
1. Hold a professional dance diploma/degree under a recognised arts tertiary institution;
2. At least two (2) years of teaching experience in Chinese dance;
3. Conduct teaching in Mandarin and English when necessary;
4. Able to work on weekends and may be subject to irregular work scheduling;
5. Good character, including career professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility;
6. Good communication skills and eloquence in language.
