Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons aligned with the centre's curriculum and learning goals.
• Support children's development in the areas of language, numeracy, social-emotional skills, and motor coordination.
• Observe and document children's progress through portfolios, learning stories, or developmental checklists.
• Maintain a warm, nurturing, and safe classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and respectful relationships.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and centre leadership in lesson planning, event coordination, and project work.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents, including informal check-ins and scheduled conferences.
• Ensure daily routines (snack time, toileting, transitions) are carried out in a caring and developmentally appropriate manner.
• Support children with varying needs and ensure inclusion for all.

Requirements

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECCE-T or equivalent)
• ECDA certified (L2 preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience preferred
• Passionate about working with young children
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Bilingual proficiency (optional: include if your programme requires Mandarin or other languages)
