P&C Business Partner

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition & People Lead to join our Trading & Shipping business, based in Singapore. This is a unique hybrid role that combines strategic Talent Acquisition leadership with HR Business Partnering across our global T&S function.
You will be responsible for delivering best-in-class recruitment and workforce planning outcomes, while also serving as a trusted advisor to the T&S leadership team on people strategy, performance, engagement, change and culture.
This role is pivotal in building a high-performing, future-ready workforce that powers Ampol's commercial ambition.
Strategic Talent Acquisition Leadership
• Lead and deliver the TA strategy for Trading & Shipping across Singapore, Australia, the UK, and the US.
• Build strong partnerships with senior leaders and hiring managers to identify talent needs and workforce trends.
• Manage and mentor a global team, including an offshore strategic sourcing function.
• Drive the search and recruitment of critical and niche trading, shipping and risk talent.
• Champion inclusive hiring and create exceptional candidate experiences.
HR Business Partnering
• Act as the People & Culture (P&C) Partner for the Singapore T&S business and partner closely with business leaders to shape and execute people plans.
• Provide strategic HR support across Organisational structure, Business Partnering, Sucession and talent Pipelining, workforce transitions.
• Facilitate leadership development, succession planning and talent review activities.
• Partner with the broader P&C team to ensure alignment with global policies and practices.
Workforce Planning & Organisational Development
• Lead workforce planning activities, ensuring alignment to business goals and operating model.
• Use data and insights to inform strategic workforce decisions and resource allocation.
• Drive organisation design, role clarity and workforce mobility initiatives.
Enterprise & Culture Change Projects
• Co-lead change programs within T&S that support culture, collaboration and capability uplift.
• Deliver key enterprise projects including ATS implementation, EVP activation, and Careers Site refresh.
• Act as a cultural change agent, supporting the adoption of Ampol values and behaviours across diverse teams.
Leadership & Governance
• Represent TA and P&C in regional forums, driving initiatives that support Ampol's people strategy.
• Build strong partnerships with COEs including Reward, Talent, DEI and Learning.
• Ensure governance, compliance and risk management across hiring and people practices.
