This role of Program Head, Geographic Tailwinds reports to the SVP, Commercial (APEC) and supports him to drive the Geographic Tailwainds program. The candidate is responsible for developing the program framework within the region and help drive faster growth from the GT countries in APEC.

The role is responsible for the following set of accountabilities:

i) Shaping the Strategic Direction of the Geographic Tailwinds Program within APEC

• Responsible for developing and refining the program framework, objectives, and success metrics tailored to regional and country-specific contexts
• Build alignment and support with Geographic Tailwinds (GT) countries and key program stakeholders across APEC
• Represent APEC in global forums to ensure alignment with global program goals and to help shape its overall direction

ii) Driving Cross-Business Unit (XBU) Collaboration across DHL's BUs, CSI and GBS

• Develop tools, processes, and workflows that enable and facilitate effective collaboration across Business Units (BUs)
• Identify and scale unique capabilities from each DHL division to highlight the collective strength of the Group
• Work closely with BUs and country teams to foster joint planning and execution of business opportunities (e.g., develop joint BU Attach Plans or growth strategies)

iii) Partnering with GT Countries in APEC to Drive Implementation

• Collaborate closely with country teams and stakeholders to support implementation of key program pillars (e.g. XBU incentive schemes, strategic partnerships)
• Support countries in identifying, monitoring, and pursuing XBU growth and win opportunities
• Facilitate the sharing and adoption of best practices across countries to drive program success and consistency

Requirements:

• Degree in Business or related studies
• At least 10 years of relevant working experience in the logistics industry
• Proven experience in Commercial
• Experience in program/ project management
• Abilitiy to manage senior level stakeholders including CEOs of each BU within APEC
• Familiarity across the APEC region
• Good communication skills
