Our Corporate Finance team is a Southeast Asia integrated team of high calibre lead M&A advisers providing transaction-focused strategic advice to private clients, corporations, private equity funds and public market companies across the mid-market space. We advise our clients on a wide range of corporate transactions including acquisitions, divestments, recapitalisations, IPOs and capital raisings.
In Singapore, we are one of the most active mid-market M&A advisors.
Due to continued strong deal-flow and pipeline growth we are seeking talented Assistant Managers to join our technical and highly dynamic Singapore team, led by an experienced group of M&A professionals.
Your new challenge will see you involved in:
• Lead advisory M&A with international and national blue chip clients, emerging companies and private equity firms across Southeast Asia and habitually with cross-border counterparties.
• A challenging range of transactions including acquisitions, takeovers, mergers, divestments, IPOs and capital raises.
• End-to-end project management of key transaction work streams including valuation, marketing materials, due diligence, direct liaison with key client stakeholders and external vendors / bidders.
Successful candidates will ideally be able to demonstrate:
• A degree with minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
• Well-developed understanding of business fundamentals: strategies, operating models, functions, macroeconomics.
• Well-developed valuation, financial analysis and modeling skills, including the ability to develop a financial model from scratch.
• Ability to logically structure a deliverable / storyboard.
• Knowledge of appropriate tools, techniques and intellectual capital to address transaction issues.
• Good understanding of the Southeast Asia M&A environment (public market, private company and private equity) and with a commencing focus on a particular industry or sector.
• Exposure to relevant transactions through Corporate Finance, Investment Banking or Private Equity.
