We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented EDM Machinist to join our precision engineering team. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain Electrical Discharge Machines (EDM) for manufacturing high-precision components, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to determine machining operations.
• Select appropriate electrodes, tools, and machine settings for the job.
• Exhibits advanced proficiency in setting up and operating EDM machines for high-precision, close-tolerance machining
• Must possess advanced skills in using standard shop measuring tools.
• Collaborate with engineers and other machinists to meet production goals and timelines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an EDM Machinist (CNC Wire-Cut and/or Sinker EDM preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with EDM machine brands (e.g., Mitsubishi, Sodick, Makino, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming is an advantage.
• Minimum NTC, NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent in Precision Engineering, Tool & Die, or related field.
