The Manager will lead one of the development teams of AI implementations of the cutting-edge vision-based products, non-vision RF based object detection or edge computing. This role will drive development and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality AI based products or sub-assembly for other IoT products of our company.

Duties and Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor one of the teams of engineers specializing in computer vision, 3D point cloud object detection, tracking, or edge computing.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Set clear goals, manage project timelines, and ensure successful delivery of vision products.

Product Development:

• Drive the end-to-end development of the AI based products, from concept to deployment.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define product requirements and roadmaps.
• Ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs.

Technical Strategy:

• Define and implement technical strategies for the AI based product development.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI and all related technologies.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance product capabilities.
• Lead the team to solve all technical problems systematically and build a knowledgebase for all technical challenges and problem solving techniques.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Monitor the performance of the products in real-world scenarios and iterate on improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and hardware teams to integrate AI models into scalable systems.
• Partner with design quality assurance team to ensure robust testing and deployment processes.

Team administration and performance evaluation:

• Monitor the performance of each team members and guide them to the right directions.
• Provide fair evaluation and manage the team openly on their performance as a basis of their career movement and remuneration scheme.

Requirement and Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in computer vision, AI, 3D cloud point object detection, or edge computing software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing teams in delivering related products or AI-driven solutions.
• Strong understanding of deep learning, neural networks, and computer vision, 3D object detection/tracking techniques.
• Experience with AI frameworks (such as, TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, LlamaIndex) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Good command of both spoken and written English. Proficient in Mandarin is preferred to liaise with mandarin speaking counterpart
