Position Summary:

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager plays a crucial role in driving strategic business partnerships, financial planning and analysis for the Consumables Manufacturing and LCM Operations in Singapore. This position requires adaptability to rapidly changing business conditions and the ability to provide timely and accurate analytics and reporting to Finance and Operations management. Strong cross-functional collaboration, the ability to influence across the organization, and outstanding analytical skills are essential. The candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and applicable US GAAP accounting standards

Position Responsibilities:

• Drive execution of strategic growth plans with Business Partners to achieve both short-term and long-term goals
• Influence decision making and partnering with leaders of Consumables Operations to drive business results towards metric targets and initiatives
• Report, analyze, and translate data into key insights that inform strategic decision making
• Identify business risks or opportunities and engage with business partners to assess the impact on the business
• Develop innovative solutions and initiatives for continuous measurable improvements
• Lead financial modeling efforts to support new operating decisions and investment opportunities
• Drive the annual budgeting process, directing, managing, and coordinating all input required for the budget, in close collaboration with business partners and global functional teams
• Lead the quarterly and monthly forecasting processes, working cross-functionally to ensure the accuracy of operating and capital expense forecasts
• Collaborate closely with the Management/Cost Accounting team to understand business drivers and perform variance analysis
• Direct and develop business review reports and other appropriate financial presentation materials to support business decision making and present to business leaders
• Maintain close liaison with APAC Accounting/Shared Service Center / India Global Capability Center
• Assist with implementing the Company's policies and procedures to ensure the protection of Company assets through established internal control systems

Position Requirements

• Hands-on experience in reporting, planning, and forecasting systems such as SAP, Cognos, and TM1.
• Cost accounting experience with an analytical background in identifying and explaining manufacturing variances, inventory, and other gross margin-related and financial drivers.
• Strong understanding of corporate financial models and their applications.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills. Proven ability to evaluate and solve complex problems and understand the strategic implications of different business approaches
• Critical thinker with strong business acumen, capable of going beyond the numbers.
• Self-directed and able to work well and communicate effectively in a team environment. Hands-on and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to establish strong rapport and partnerships at all levels of the organization.
• Commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or deadlines. Demonstrated leadership and development potential.

Preferred Experience/Education/Skills:

• Chartered Accountant with degree in Business, Finance or related field is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant finance experience with at least 7 years in financial planning and analysis in a multinational manufacturing environment.
