SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Speech & Language Therapist to join our growing team working alongside our existing Speech & Language Therapist with learners from Kindergarten to Grade 12. The successful candidate will be part of our wider team developing inclusive provision and therapies and have a passion for inclusion and supporting all students to meet their individual potential.
Position requirements:
• Experience working with children of all ages is required. As part of the Therapy team, you will work from Kindergarten to G12 and support students with wide-ranging needs and abilities.
• Experience in an International School setting is preferred.
• Be able to screen, assess and formulate individual plans to support children with a range of social communication, language and literacy needs.
• Conduct individualised and small group speech & language intervention for students within the School setting; as directed by the Head of Inclusive Education & Therapy.
• Deliver training and consultation for teachers and parents.
• Be able to refer families to external and alternative services where necessary.
• The role requires excellent communication skills, time management and adaptability. You should be well organised and take an interest in service development.
• The ability to work collaboratively in a team and participate in the wider school community is essential.
• Experience supporting English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners.
Qualifications:
• A minimum Bachelor's degree is required.
• 3-5 years post-qualification experience in a comparable setting.
