What a Senior Manager, Print Strategic Initiatives, and Partner Integration does at HP:
  • Applies Supply Chain, Print and Program management expertise to effectively manage strategic and complex supply chain programs.
  • Manages activities of non-exempt/exempt individual contributors who will manage the above programs.
  • Has accountability for delivery of the above programs within budget and timelines to meet defined objectives.
  • Acts as key advisor, when requested, to SC Operations and other organizations (Procurement, Planning, Category) on Supply Chain strategy.
  • Plans, manages and monitors high-end operational/tactical activities of Staff. Staff members' primary focus is managing one or more Supply Chain projects or programs.
  • Recruits and supports development of direct staff members. Position typically reports to Director or above. Host manager for Singapore based Supply Chain Transformation and Resilience employees and is part of Singapore Supply Chain site council.
  • Working closely with HP senior management, supply chain operations, IT, and strategic partners, lead supply chain digital transformation programs, strategic PRINT initiatives, supply chain partner on-boarding, supply chain resilience programs, and Made in X initiatives and cross-functional leadership
  • Providing direct leadership to a team of senior-level exempt individual contributors and managers focusing on strategic development, and shaping the vision, strategy, and processes for key initiatives aimed at expanding the company's presence in new markets and business lines.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership to refine supply chain strategic goals in alignment with the company's mission, and monitors progress towards these goals.
  • Oversees the development of business process migration strategies, engages in cross-functional collaboration, manages supply chain models, conducts industry analysis, and identifies growth opportunities with business cases and financial models for investment decisions.
  • Defines and drives vision, strategy, and processes for key strategic initiatives to help the company expand into new markets, business lines, and opportunities.
  • Develops an end-to-end business process migration strategy, tactics, project plan, and timeline to achieve the strategy development program's goals.
  • Works cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, manufacturing, quality control, research, and marketing to deliver insights on the development of supply chain strategies.
  • Manages strategic supply chain models which translate physical and financial flows into business processes, implementing product and services supply chains into the company's business systems.
  • Manages recurring analysis of industry and market trends, competitors, growth opportunities, and internal performance to lead the strategic planning process.
  • Identifies potential business growth opportunities related to supply chain and operations, and develops business cases and financial models to support investment decisions in new markets, technologies, or partnerships.
  • Responsible for hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development; ensures that the proper tools are in place to support the team and the processes.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:
  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 10+ years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field.
