The role is responsible for delivering on multiple strategic objectives in support of key business aims that transect tradecraft, operational and commercial aspects of the work. They provide mentoring, guidance and line management (depending on team requirements) to both peers and junior staff, with a particular focus on the Asia region. They are responsible for setting and maintaining exceptionally high standards of analysis and assessment.

across the entire scope of the South Asia and Asia Pacific regions. And they are skilled in
adapting to previously unfamiliar domains. They are also responsible for managing and developing client relationships and ensuring the smooth running of operations there.

Responsibilities
- Prepare consistently client-ready SIAS research, analysis, written reports and verbal briefings. Setting and meeting appropriate deadlines.
- Plan and deliver on high quality project work, including budgets and timescales and working with external consultants where appropriate.
- Innovate, and lead on intelligence gathering, analysis and assessment techniques and their adoption within the team.
- Lead and support colleagues to meet (human and open source) intelligence-gathering requirements including through long-term relationships with external partners and providers.
- Set and communicate clear objectives to analysts and line reports that align with team goals.
- Provide outstanding customer service, and work closely with colleagues in business intelligence and client success to proactively identify and address issues.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and prospects.
- Seek out and exploit opportunities to represent and advocate for the brand.
- Prepare proposals in coordination with colleagues in business development and advisory.
- Identify, develop and deliver commercial opportunities independently and in coordination with colleagues.
