You will be part of the Financial Control team, working independently and reporting to the Head of Finance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the review of MAS returns, analyse reports and investigate variances.
• Ensure compliance with MAS regulations and keep abreast of regulatory developments
• Ensure adherence to MAS compliance and reporting standards by integrating new reporting requirements and assessing the suitability of current data attributes to meet evolving regulatory expectations.
• Work closely with IT and external vendors to maintain and update the automated regulatory reporting platform in alignment with evolving regulatory requirements.
• Engage with external auditors during the annual audit process and support the preparation of statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting standards.
• Assist in preparation of corporate tax computation and prepare quarterly GST returns

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or Commerce, preferable with CA qualification
• Min 4 years experience in Finance department in a bank
• Possess strong analytical skills, organized and detailed oriented.
• Keen to contribute to the workflow efficiency through giving suggestions / recommendations.
• Familiarity with relevant legislations/regulations and statutory accounting principles
• Proficient in MS Excel and Power App.
