Job Description

The primary role to support the development of agent, partner and TransPak logistics operations globally with a focus on the APAC region. The role involves a variety of activities related to business development with oversees agents and customers.

It will play a key role in ensuring agent and marketing activities are managed and follow up, upon. Critical to the role is ensuring the mission and objectives of the APAC logistics team and the Sr Director APAC is carried through. Involving direct communication in Asian languages, project management on key initiatives and reporting out to management

The role involves these key areas, and related support

Agent relations

1. Support the Sr Director APAC logistics, in agent, partner and network development

2. Attending agent conferences

3. Follow up from agent conferences, meetings, negotiations, and agreements

4. Facilitate agent communications

5. Enable closer communications across the Asian network. Translating in written, verbal and meetings as needed

Customer business development marketing and support

1. International Customer account development.

2. Develop

3. Marketing decks

4. Assisting business development with managing sales leads and tracker administration

5. Customer relations, sales support and related activities

Market and Metric Management

1. Running and analysing KPI reports on freight activities by agent by lane segment

2. Market analysis

3. Supporting financial reviews

4. Tracking logistics market activities from news outlets and business media

5. Freight market forecasting

Experience and skills

1. Knowledge of the freight industry and trade factors impacting import and export

2. Asian cultural norms and business practices.

3. Strong language skills across Chinese, Korean, English and related language

4. Degree in international trade, logistics or related areas

Others:

1. This position requires up to 20% travel

2. Home base is in Singapore with remote work from Korea and other Asia locations
