As a member of the IPB SEA Business Management team, the incumbent will play an important role in delivering on business priorities and managing the business risks within the South East Asia coverage market.
Your key responsibilities:
- Provide fundamental support to Lead Business Manager, Market Heads and SRH based in Singapore, to assist in the day-to-day business activities in aspects of operational and other support.
- Act as the primary point of contact for business management requests by liaising with key stakeholders (SA, Cross Border desk, iCAT, Client onboarding, Operations, COO, Finance etc) as appropriate.
- Responsible for timely action on topics such as account opening, periodic review including governance and monitoring
- Assist to prepare materials for business and regional strategy meetings including tracking and follow-up on key items
- Support various Operations Remediation programs including understanding of underlying regulations / internal audit that drive the need for remediation
- Prepare monthly Business Review material and Market Head Review meetings material and follow up on action plans
- Risk and Control
Ensure adherence to global guidelines, governance standards, tools, processes, policies and controls
Manage and ensure compliance of coverage teams:

Dormant, Unfunded and Small Accounts
Pricing
Support regulatory projects, audits and reviews
Lead on operational incidents and control enhancement, including defining and implementing controls and risk mitigation actions - Business Support
New joiner support & training - systems, policies, procedures, training
Champion SEA business in various forums
Own and drive business processes and KOPs
Oversee and coordinate delivery from support functions to address BAU issues and requirements
Gatekeep for specific system/ data accesses
BCP Planning and management - Business Improvement
Lead and execute business priorities and projects
Identify pain points, act as coordination point with APAC COO and AGILE teams on infrastructure and process enhancements
Facilitate process enhancements and overall organizational efficiency with up-to-date awareness, and continuous evaluation of business changes and their impact
Your skills and experience:
- At least 5 years of experience working in a Business Management Team and an overall of 10 years of relevant working experience in the banking and financial sector
- Proven track record in collaboration with both coverage/sales teams and other cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge in Wealth Management investment products
- Problem solving skills with strong stakeholder management.
- The determination and resiliency required to work in a large, complex and dynamic environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- A clear and rational thinker with the ability to work to stringent deadlines and commitments
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform effective quality assurance testing and fault finding skills
- Self-motivated, independent thinking, and the determination and resiliency required to work in a large, complex and dynamic environment
- Expertise in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Post/graduate level degree and analytical skills
