- As a Deputy Fleet Manager, you will assume full responsibility for safe operation of a Fleet of Oil/Chemical Tankers vessels assigned to you.
- Ensure vessel compliance with company, SMS, international and local regulations.
- Besides day to day close monitoring of vessels, you will be required to supervise tank cleaning operation, ensure safety of navigation , and carry out vessel inspections
- Required to conduct in-depth investigations when required, ensure certification and documentation of vessels under your charge are up to date and meet international safety standards.
- You will also supervise the preparation of vessels for various 3 rd party inspections like - Sire / CDI / MESQAC Inspections / TMSA Review.
Job description
- Minimum 1 year sailing experience as Master on Oil/Chemical Tankers
- Minimum 5 years of shore based experience
- Added advantage if the candidate has worked on Coated and Stainless Tanks
- You should be professionally sound, highly motivated & a good team player.
- Good leadership qualities & strong commitment to safety/compliance procedures are essentially needed in our organization.
