Job Description:
Job Requirements:
- Preparation of design calculation sheets, design & construction drawings, and any other related documentation
- Receive approvals from relevant Authorities and/or Employers
- Prepare concrete design calculations such as bridges, drainage culverts, and retaining walls
- Prepare steel structural design calculations such as steel bridges, and temporary sheet piles
- Prepare settlement/consolidation calculations
- Prepare slope stability calculations
- Prepare construction planning & management for the works such as reclamation, dredging, soil improvement, soil investigation, ground compaction, piling, steel fabrication, and concrete, etc.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering
- Design experience such as piling foundation, drainage, Earth Retaining Stabilizing Structure (ERSS), soil improvement design (PVD, DCM, sand pile, gravel pile), ECM, Gravity wall, FEM, Slope stability
- Familiar with the latest design standards such as Eurocode, British standards, ACI, ASCE, PIANC, CIRIA etc.
- Well-versed in software e.g. Auto CAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Geoslope, PLAXIS etc.
- Contract duration of 2 years
- 5.5 days' workweek
