Enterprise Architect - Network

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of the enterprise network and security strategy and roadmap.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business and technical requirements.
- Develop high-level architecture models and frameworks to support solution design and decision-making.
- Provide technical leadership to delivery teams in designing robust, scalable, and secure network and security solutions.
- Evaluate new technologies and tools, influencing adoption and integration across the business.
- Conduct in-depth assessments of existing infrastructure, offering recommendations for enhancements.
- Drive compliance with information security policies and data governance standards.
- Ensure best practices in network operations including:
Network Maintenance & Support: Routine maintenance, performance tuning, firmware upgrades, issue resolution.
Firewall Management: Configuration and administration of Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls, policy creation.
Switch & Router Management: Cisco switch/router configuration, performance optimization, segmentation.
Security Compliance: Align with industry standards, ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with IT, security, and operations teams to achieve shared outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Network and Security Architecture, delivery, and consulting roles.
- Proven expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
- Strong hands-on experience in:
Routing & Switching (OSPF, BGP, Cisco)
Firewalls (Palo Alto, Check Point, SonicWall)
Cloud Security (AWS/Azure), Encryption (IPSec), NAC (Aruba ClearPass), QoS, Load Balancing (F5)
Wireless (Cisco WLC, AP), Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) - Industry certifications from leading Network & Security OEMs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and team collaboration abilities.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Nice to Have:
- TOGAF 9 Certification
- Cloud and Infrastructure Security experience (AWS, Azure, CISSP, EDR, PAM, DAM, DLP, EPP)
- Experience working with Government infrastructure frameworks, including IM8, Government Commercial Cloud (GCC), or Confidential Cloud Computing.
