The lab of RNA in Disease and Translational Technologies at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, A*STAR, Singapore is seeking to recruit a highly motivated Research Officer to join a team developing an RNA platform for therapeutic applications (including neurological diseases). Both with or without experience are invited to apply.

Candidates must have an undergraduate degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Neuroscience or a related discipline. The successful candidate will have expertise in both molecular biology techniques (RT-qPCR, molecular cloning, RNA handling) and cell biology methods (cell culture, transfection, electroporation, flow cytometry). Experience and interest in bioinformatics is preferred but not required. We are looking for individuals who are conscientious and detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills. They should demonstrate the ability to work independently while also possessing excellent organizational, verbal, and interpersonal skills, enabling them to collaborate effectively within a team.
