Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented trainee to support our green coffee bean business focused on the Japan market. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in various aspects of coffee trading.

What you will do:

• Assist in managing the green coffee supply chain for the Japan market, from origin to customer.
• Coordinate sample requests, approvals, and dispatch for buyers.
• Support logistics planning and execution for green coffee shipments.
• Participate in origin visits, including our ongoing sustainability project activities in Vietnam, alongside Japanese buyers.
• Learn and contribute to the execution of ofi's coffee trading processes and quality standards.
• Liaise with internal teams across origin, quality, and sustainability to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and maintain documentation and records related to trading, logistics, and customer communication.

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree holders with about 5 years of relevant experience in trading, supply chain, logistics, or related areas
• Strong interest in coffee trading, supply chain, or international business.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable to different cultural and business contexts.
• Proficiency in English; Japanese language skills a plus
