Social Media Content Specialist (IT Internal Communications)

Content Creation & Management:

• Develop and execute a content calendar for internal platforms (e.g., intranet, Microsoft Teams, emails)

• Produce high quality videos, GIFs and visual assets to communicate IT updates, policies and initiatives

• Craft clear and concise copy tailored to technical and non-technical audiences

Internal Communications Support:

• Partner with IT teams to gather updates, project highlights and success stories

• Support the communication team with image and banners creations

• Promote IT-driven events (webinars, polls, team activities) through targeted campaigns

Analytics & Optimization:

• Track engagement metrics (views, clicks, shares) to refine content strategies

• Ensure brand consistency and compliance with company guidelines

Administrative Tasks:

• Schedule and publish content across internal channels

• Maintain an organized library of digital assets (videos, templates, images)

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 -2 years of experience in social media management, content creation, internal communications in the IT or tech-driven environment

• Portfolio showcasing video production/ editing skills and creative content (e.g., short reels, promotional campaigns, image creation)

• Proficiency in video shoots, editing and post-production (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva or similar tools)

• Ability to create visually engaging graphics, infographics, and multimedia content for IT-focused messaging

• Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite and SharePoint analytics dashboard creation)

• Independent individual with strong time management to meet deadlines without constant supervision

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate complex IT topics into impactful and engaging content

• Collaborative mindset to liaise with IT teams, stakeholders and internal clients
