Location : West of Singapore

Job Description:

The Facility Officer, Building Infrastructure Management, is responsible for ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance within the center. This role involves providing comprehensive operational support to facilitate smooth day-to-day operations and successful execution of center events.

Responsibilities:

• Provide operational support in the centre day-to-day and during center events

• Support the organization operations and research need through the workshops/laboratories, offices, building infrastructure and premise security management

• Conduct daily walkabout in the centre to ensure the centre is in good operational condition, uncompromised security and safety compliance

• Ensure a safe working environment within the centre

• Track, maintain and order the operational inventories and maintain a systematic filing system

• Work closely with in-house contractors for facilities feedback to keep the centre in a daily operational state

• Assist in liaising and sourcing of vendor for quotation, equipment, service and monitor the contractor work's quality, schedule and ensure safety during the execution

• Handle requests and queries from staff and management

• Work together with internal stakeholders/partners to support the entity in center operations

• Assist in executing corporate facilities related projects

• Investigate, check and analyze reported on any workshop and laboratory breakdown

• Facilitate in the facilities related SOPs, Forms and presentation materials

• Perform essential handyman work when needed

• Any other duties assigned by supervisor

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum qualification: Nitec in a related field

• At least 1 year of experience in operations for workshop, labs, facility, building services, AV system

• Ability to break down tasks and provide realistic timelines

• Willingness to occasionally work outside office hours

• Some understanding in the HS&E requirement

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Self-driven, meticulous, able to multi-task and work independently and as part of a team

• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities

• Eager to learn new knowledge and technology
