- Checking pets for any skin or coat issues and alerting the owners or vets if necessary
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area and equipment
- Providing excellent customer service by listening to and addressing clients' concerns and requests
- Proficiency in various grooming techniques, including breed-specific cuts
- Knowledge of pet health and behavior, particularly signs of distress or illness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for animals and commitment to their well-being
- Certification from a recognized grooming program
